What can you track with EasyRoutine?

Anything you do again and again and want to stop guessing about. EasyRoutine is not only for habits: if the question is "when did I last do this?", from watering the fern to changing the furnace filter, it fits.

One model for every kind of routine

Everything in EasyRoutine is built from the same three pieces. A routine groups related things, like Plants, Pets or Household. Each activity is one thing you do, like Water the monstera or Feed Rex. Each log records that you did it and when, with an optional note and a green, amber or red flag.

Because the model is that simple, it stretches a long way:

  • Daily habits: drinking water, flossing, journaling, a retainer at night
  • Weekly chores: cleaning, laundry, trash day, bed sheets
  • Care for others: feeding the dog, a pet's medication, watering plants
  • Long cycles and one-offs: filters, contact lenses, car service, a bill due on the 15th

There is no limit on routines, activities or logs on any plan, so you do not need a separate app for each of these. They all live in one place, and the calendar shows one routine at a time.

How to pick the right setup

Start from the rhythm of the task.

  • Same weekdays every week (water the fern Wednesday and Saturday, trash out Monday night): use a recurring schedule with a time and, if you like, a reminder.
  • A longer or uneven cycle (a filter every two months, lenses every 14 days, a bill once a month): there is no "every N days" rule, so plan the actual dates as single-day plans. Each activity holds up to 20.
  • No fixed schedule at all: just log it when it happens. Logging and the calendar are free, and the record alone answers "when did I last do it?"

Scheduling and reminders are part of Premium. Reminders are based on a date and time, not on anything the app measures.

If your routine is health or self-care, the dedicated guides go deeper: the medication tracker, supplement tracker, skincare routine tracker and workout log. The guides below cover everything else.

Common questions

Is EasyRoutine only for habits?

No. It works for anything you repeat, including chores, pet care and long-cycle jobs like filters. One-off tasks such as a bill due on a date can be planned as single-day plans with a reminder.

Do I need a separate app for each routine?

No. You can create as many routines as you like in one account, each with its own activities, schedules and reminders.

Can a reminder be based on mileage or usage instead of a date?

No. Reminders are tied to a date and time in a schedule. For something like car service, plan the date you expect it to be due.
