Signing in, syncing and your data
EasyRoutine keeps your routines in your account, so they are on every phone you sign in on and safe if you lose one. Here is what that means in practice.
Signing in
- Sign in with Apple (iPhone).
- Sign in with Google.
- Email code: enter your email and type the one-time code we send you.
There is no password to create or forget. With Apple or Google we never see your password; we receive only an account identifier and, if you allow it, your name.
What syncs
Routines, activities and their photos, schedules and every log with its note and flag. Sign in on a new phone and it is all there. Data is stored on servers in Helsinki, Finland, and never sold. Read the privacy policy for the details.
Using EasyRoutine without a connection
EasyRoutine needs an internet connection. Your routines and logs live on the server, so if your phone is offline or the server cannot be reached, the app shows a notice and waits until you are back online. You cannot view or log anything in the meantime. Reminders are the exception: they are scheduled on your phone, so they still arrive in airplane mode.
Deleting your account
- Open the Profile tab.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
Your routines, activities, logs and photos are deleted immediately and you are signed out. Copies in encrypted backups are purged within 30 days. If you subscribe to Premium, cancel it in the App Store or Google Play first, because deleting your account does not stop the subscription. You can also request deletion by email.
Common questions
Do I need an account to use EasyRoutine?
Yes. Your routines and logs are stored with your account so they sync and survive a lost phone, so the app asks you to sign in first. It takes a few seconds with Apple, Google or a one-time code sent to your email.
Does EasyRoutine work without internet?
No. EasyRoutine needs an internet connection to open your routines, log and scan. When you are offline it shows a notice until the connection is back. Reminders you have already set still arrive offline because your phone schedules them.
Where is my data stored?
On servers in Helsinki, Finland, inside the EU. We never sell your data.
How do I delete my account and my data?
In the app, open the Profile tab, tap Delete Account and confirm. Your routines, activities, logs and photos are deleted immediately; backup copies are purged within 30 days. A Premium subscription has to be cancelled separately in the App Store or Google Play.
