How many ads does the free EasyRoutine app have?
Very few: one small banner at the bottom of the Calendar tab, and one at the bottom of the Profile tab. There are no full-screen, video or pop-up ads, and no ad ever appears between logs.
What kind of ads
The free plan uses banner ads from Google AdMob. A banner is a strip at the bottom of the screen that stays put while you use the tab. It does not come and go on a timer, and it does not cover what you are looking at.
There are no interstitial (full-screen) ads, no video ads, no ads you have to watch to unlock something and no ad when you open the app.
Where they appear
- Calendar tab: one banner at the bottom, below your Day, Week or Month view.
- Profile tab: one banner at the bottom.
That is all. The other tabs, including Scan, show no ads.
Do ads interrupt logging?
No. Logging with the + Log button on a day, picking several activities at once, scanning with the camera and adding a note all work the same on the free plan. The banner stays at the bottom of the screen and never pops up in between.
Ads and your privacy
When the app starts, iPhone shows Apple's tracking prompt, and in the EU, the UK and Switzerland you see Google's consent form. AdMob only starts after that choice and follows it. If you are in one of those regions, you can change your answer later under Privacy choices on the Profile tab.
AdMob may use your device's advertising ID, depending on your consent. Your routines, activities, logs and photos are never shared with advertisers. Photo privacy.
Removing the ads
Premium removes every banner. It is one monthly subscription: $1.49 in the US and €1.49 in euro countries, with local prices elsewhere set per country by the store (for example £0.99 in the UK or ¥200 in Japan). The store shows your price before you subscribe. Premium also adds schedule planning and reminders. Everything else, from logging and your calendar history to notes, flags and the photo scan, is free either way. What the free plan includes or how renewal works.
